Vintage Bald Mountain Buffalo Leather Moccasin Boots. I wear a 10 and these are pretty much a perfect fit. There's enough room for a good wool sock. Perfect winter boot, and excellent summer boot for walking off the beaten path as they are nice and tall, so protection from poison ivy and insect bites. The leather is forgiving in that you can wash them, oil them and prevent any wetness reaching your comfy tootsies or leave as they are.

Mink oil, saddle soap, even bear grease are options for waterproofing. The leather is super supple.

These are returnable if you aren't thrilled. You no longer have to dream about owning a pair or worry that the bootmaker will never finish them...
