10 2005 Bison Mint Sets 4U8 Very Early Ship Date. 2/11/2005

The images were evocative of the historic expedition into the Louisiana Territory. The series was authorized by Public Law. Mint began the Westward Journey Nickel Series in 2004 with the release of the "Peace Medal" and "Keelboat" nickels. The "American bison" reverse was representative of the wildlife encountered by the expedition. The second coin of 2005 depicted a scene of the Pacific Ocean, highlighting the expedition's exultation on believing they had finally reached the Pacific Ocean after many months of travel.

Which the mint launched in 2004. I have dates from the first day forward! Have been said to have the greatest potential for errors.

Fortunately I was ready and ordered as soon as they became. Available and have held onto these and stored these rare treasures for almost 20 years along with many bank bricks of 50 rolls.
