How Awesome is this One of a Kind Life Size Plains Buffalo Sculpture/Statue? Created in 2002 in Garden City, Kansas by a group of local artists for the 2002 US Olympics in Salt Lake City, UT movement for communities to create Buffalo. This statue measures approximately 8' long x 5' tall x 4' wide. It is composed of papier mache over a wire frame and is mounted on a wheeled platform for ease of movement. The paper covering the statue is all newspaper article of famed Buffalo Hunter-turned-Preservationist Charles "Buffalo" Jones of Garden City, Kansas.
It has been glazed and poly-coated for protection. Partial proceeds will go to support the Finney County Historical Museum and the Finney County Preservation Alliance. Thank you for shopping with us!
