Art print: "Stray Specter" (7''x11.5 image size) A High quality lithograph print signed limited edition. The original was put together using woods such as Pernambuco, Gaboon Ebony, Camphor, walnut and other local and exotic woods. Artist: Neldon Bullock was born September 30, 1953 and died October 25, 2023. Neldon mastered the art of marquetry - the process of selecting, precision cutting of natural colored and textured woods, and inlaying the veneer into an artistic concept. Bullock does not introduce stains, artificial texturing, putties, or wood fillers.
The selection of wood varieties is very important. He would obtain Padauk Vermillion from the Andaman Islands, Satine from South America, Rosa Peroba from Brazil, Lacewood from Australia, Gaboon Ebony from Africa, as well as native varieties close to his home in Utah. Bullock would slice his own woods to approximately three eighth's inches in thickness in order to enhance his quality of work. Originals have soared in value and these limited edition prints are now highly collectible in the market place.
