Bison Instruments Series 9000 Model 9048 Digital Instantaneous Floating Point Signal Stacking Seismograph. This is a rare vintage geophysical/seismic field instrument housed in the original Bison hard case.

Front panel markings identify it as a Digital Instantaneous Floating Point Signal Stacking Seismograph (DIFP). The unit label shows Series 9000 / Model 9048. Cosmetically, it shows normal field-use wear including scuffs, scratches, discoloration, and age-related marks.
