Bison Shield Painting on Sewn Canvas From NA Artist Richard Montanbault Estate

Montanbault was a member of the Cedar River Band, a mix of Ojibwa and Ottawa Native American in Michigan. He was a member of both the Midland and Gladwin Area Artist Guilds, serving as the director for the board of the Midland Artists Guild. His artwork has also been displayed at Detroit Metro and he has made models for Walt Disney, the city of Milwaukee, General Motors, Ford, and the city of Cleveland. He died in 2007 at the age of 72.
