BISON SKULL CAP historic Horn buffalo

HISTORIC AMERICAN BULL BISON SKULL CAP. This gorgeous bison skull cap has a beautiful natural brown patina.

Found on a river bank in the upper midwest. This bison likely died 100's to 1000's of years ago and has a horn core spread of 23.

This skull cap eroded out of a high river bank, and tumbled down river with he current until it came to rest at the end of a gravel bar. This skull cap has been preserved with an acrylic stabilizing product.
