Buffalo Hide Rug,'Large' Premium Winter Coat Tanned Bison Rug, Made In The USA. Each Large Buffalo rug measures approximately 83"x69"x66 - 40 to 45 sq ft per rug. Pictures are the large Buffalo rug on a queen size bed. These hides have been hand selected and are "NO CHROME" Tanned Buffalo/Bison rugs. Each rug has its own unique color, shade and pattern since each Buffalo's coat is unique.
Because of this, colors and shades will vary from the Buffalo rug pictured. These are Premium Buffalo rugs that are made from Buffalo/Bison raised on the open ranges of Colorado. They have been hand selected at USDA facilities from December 1st thru January 1st to ensure an optimum winter coat. Each rug is hand worked to reduce the thickness of the leather side, resulting in a supple robe unmatched in quality by the thicker, stiffer chromium tanned rugs offered by some.
These rugs look amazing on the floor in front of a fireplace, hung up on the wall, laid over the back of the couch or even laid out on top of the bed. American Buffalo are the iconic symbol of the old west.
