MASSIVE TROPHY BUFFALO SHOULDER MOUNT AND HIDE, BULL BISON TAXIDERMY HEAD AND FUR SKIN. Terrific taxidermy and a superb mount. Head is MUCH bigger than it looks in proportion to the skin hide, since the photos were taken looking up (it is mounted about 20-25 feet up on a huge fireplace). The first and fourth photos were taken with my iPhone, and feature truer colors. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SKIN HIDE HAS BEEN MOUNTED UPSIDE DOWN, DUE TO THE SHAPE OF THE FIREPLACE IT'S MOUNTED TO. The head mount includes most of the neck but not much of the shoulder (see the side view) and measures about 34in tall where it joins the fireplace, sticks out about 30in from it, and is about 26in from the tip of the horns to the bottom of its chin (exact measurements may be off by an inch or two, since it's so high up I couldn't get closer). The skin hide is a humongous 107x92 inches-- nearly 9ft long and 8ft wide! This is a HUGE mount and hide, and makes an impressive conversation piece-- It always brings comments when visitors come to my home. They always wanted to know if it was real-- IT IS!

If you don't have enough room to mount them the way I have, you can always mount the head on a wall or fireplace, and the skin hide on the floor. I had other drivers taking double takes and oogling it, all the way back to Michigan! It's been mounted on my 30ft tall fireplace ever since. And if you're anywhere close to Lansing, Michigan, I'll make it worth your while to come here and pick it up. If you have a big enough car, it should fit on your passenger seat and then you, too, can have everyone stare at you and laugh as you drive it home!
