Extremely rare native American late prehistory Bison Bone two hole gorget. This amazing find comes from North Dakota and is extremely well made with large tally marks on the Bison Bone Gorget! This artifact shows it's age with excellent patina, great absorbed deposits. The drillings and the abrasive work are spot on for the late prehistory to early contact period.
The gorget has cut marks that are consistent with early high plains processing with flint tools. It measures 3 5/8" long x 1" wide. This is a Museum grade artifact without damage just normal age related wear.
