RARE authentic player's minor league baseball team jacket. Not a wanna-be but the real deal for the Buffalo Bisons, a class-AAA minor league team in the International League, affiliated with the Toronto Blue Jays. MLB big boys like Jhonny Peralta, Dave Hollins, Tony Pena, Warren Spahn and Richie Sexton, just to name a few, passed through the dugout, all wearing similar jackets. Quality gear from the New Buffalo Shirt Factory!
Heavy navy blue flight satin/nylon shell with warm red quilt lining. Team name big and bold across the chest with'Buster', the mascot, on the upper left sleeve and on the lower right sleeve. Excellent condition with no tears, seam issues, rips or weird smells but there is a small hole in the nylon collar (see pic #5). This authentic team jacket is a size X_LARGE.
Warm and stylish in the true button-up team jacket tradition of baseball, not like the silly pull-overs and sissy clownish lightweight'souvenir' stuff MLB is promoting these days. The pictures tell it all! Stored in plastic in a pet/smoke-free home in the beautiful dry climate of Eastern Washington. From pit to pit this incredible find measures 27", from shoulder seam to tip of cuff it measures 29" and from top of collar to the bottom snap this bad boy measures 29.
(Measurements are not exact, but darn close) A RARE collectible. Quality throughout and a great piece of baseball history!
