Scientists say our last Super bison died five thousand years ago. This skull is a lot bigger than it looks32 inches wide from shock tip to shock tip.. And 14.5 inches to the outer rims of the eye sockets. See the scars on his nose? Those are from some very sharp claws and they healed!

I used it as a character in my book series, Voice of the Ancients. Hopefully it will be famous some day!

There is a little piece missing around the cheek, but I have it! I love, love love this ancient bison skull. It has so much character. The Navajo Rug is 35 wide, I'm trying to show how big this skull actually is..

The width of the cabinet with the other fossil skull is 45 inches wide. It might weigh 35 lbs, I don't have a scale, but is heavy. It is hard to imagine how really big it was alive, maybe 3,000 lbs.
